DHXART PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DHXart uses personal data when you visit dhxart.com, contact us or place an order. We use your information only where there is a clear reason to do so.
Order information
We use your contact, delivery and order details to make, dispatch and support your purchase.
Privacy choices
You can ask about your data, request corrections or object to certain uses by emailing us.
Choice for non essential cookies
Necessary cookies keep the shop working. Optional analytics or advertising cookies are used only with the appropriate choice or consent.
1. Who we are
DHXart is the controller of personal data collected through dhxart.com. Our postal address is: DHXart, 1–2 Kimberley Street, Wakefield, WF1 5PX, United Kingdom.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@dhxart.com. For an order query, use support@dhxart.com and include your order number.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number and delivery or billing address.
- Order information, including products selected, personalisation instructions, artwork or files you send, messages and refund or support records.
- Payment and transaction information supplied through checkout. Card payments are handled by the payment provider selected at checkout.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, cookie choices and security or fraud prevention information.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to process payments, produce and dispatch orders, provide customer support, manage returns and refunds, prevent fraud, improve the shop and meet our legal obligations.
If you enter your email address during checkout but do not complete the order, we may securely save your basket and contact details for a limited period so we can send a small number of basket reminder emails. These messages contain a link that lets you return to your checkout. You can unsubscribe from recovery emails at any time, and we do not use an abandoned basket as consent for unrelated marketing.
Our legal bases include performing a contract with you, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, and consent where consent is required. We use marketing only where permitted by law and you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Artwork and personalisation
Artwork, photographs, logos, names, wording and other personalisation details are used only to create and support your order. We do not retain artwork or customer production details after an order is complete unless you ask us to keep them for a future order or we must retain records for a legal reason.
Please do not send payment card details or unnecessary sensitive personal information by email or through a product personalisation field.
5. Who we share information with
We share only the information needed with service providers that help us operate the shop and fulfil your order. This can include payment providers, delivery carriers, website hosting and security providers, email providers, print or fulfilment services where used, and professional advisers where necessary.
When enabled, our site may also use tools for analytics, advertising, product listings or fraud prevention, including Google services, Pinterest services and reCAPTCHA. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and the choices shown in our cookie controls.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law, such as approved contractual protections or an adequacy arrangement.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies for functions such as basket, checkout, security, preferences and keeping the website working. Optional cookies may help us measure traffic or show relevant advertising.
You can manage non essential cookies through the cookie controls shown on the site and through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent some shop functions from working correctly.
8. How long we keep data
We keep order, payment and tax records for as long as required by law and reasonably needed to deal with customer service, accounting, fraud prevention or legal claims. We keep other information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where practical. Backups may retain information for a limited additional period before being overwritten.
9. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To make a request, email info@dhxart.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
10. Security and third party links
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use secure passwords and contact us promptly if you think your account or data may be at risk.
Our shop may link to third party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Updates to this policy: We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its update date.
Last updated: 26 September 2026. This policy is intended to be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
